The contemporary art scene and art market are complex and multifaceted, encompassing a wide range of artistic styles, mediums, and movements. Contemporary art refers to art produced in the present time, typically from the 1960s onwards, and is characterized by its experimental nature and focus on exploring new ideas and forms.
Contemporary art is often associated with a number of key movements, such as conceptual art, installation art, performance art, and video art, among others. These movements are defined by their focus on challenging traditional notions of art and the role of the artist, often pushing the boundaries of what is considered acceptable or valuable in the art world.
Through this course, CURATOR Masterclass will introduce the basic notion of the contemporary art market, and equip you with the knowledge for your future career in the artworld.
